The Boathouse on Great Barrier Island

Located in Tryphena at Gooseberry Flats Beach on Great Barrier Island, you can walk straight to the beautiful white sandy beach at your doorstep or use the Boathouse as a base to explore the beauty of the Island. This is an amazing location for a holiday away from the cares of the modern world. Relax on the deck with a good book and enjoy the stunning sea views through ancient Pohutukawa trees. The cozy A-frame sleeps 2 to 4 people and is fully equipped for your holiday stay. It has two bedrooms upstairs with queen size beds. Access to the 2nd bedroom is via the 1st bedroom. There is a shared bathroom downstairs. Hire a kayak and paddle with the dolphins or book a fishing charter with one of the local fishing guides. A short stroll will take you to the local shop, café and Irish pub.
