ORGANIC CERTIFICATION
Kennedy Point Vineyard is currently undergoing organic certification for the vineyard and olive grove. This process takes three years and requires extensive record keeping and the use of certified organic sprays and fertilisers. Organic Farm NZ follows the strict international standards of Bio Grow. Kennedy Point is an accredited member of Sustainable Winegrowing New Zealand and an organic certification follows on from this as an extension of our desire to create a sustainable, healthy vineyard environment where the wine produced reflects the essence of the land. The vineyard is surrounded by residential areas and it is our responsibility to ensure the safety of employees and ourselves.

VINTAGE REPORT
VINTAGE 2007
Summer 2007 started late in January. Followed by a dry warm February with long sunlight hours, allowing the fruit to ripen quickly resulting in a similar harvest time to 2006. The Merlot yield was reduced by the strong November wind, but the fruit that remained showed intense colour and flavour, which continues to show in the early stages of the wines development. Jasa Vineyard produce its first full crop of Syrah, picked over two days at Easter. The 2007 vintage, now aging quietly to the mellow sounds of Jazz, looks to be, in the words of winemaker Herb "a Classic Vintage". Currently available from Vintage 2007:

Sauvignon Blanc
VINTAGE 2006
Bottling is underway for the 2006 varieties, with release dates for most being later this year. The exception, being available now is:
